Kindle is an electronic book reader and not an internet access tool, so one should not expect too much out of this device, as far as internet accessibility is concerned.
Kindle has many features which would make you a proud owner. There are two versions of Kindle – one is the WiFi and the other is the 3G, both allow you to browse the internet, though their capabilities are limited. Kindles – both WiFi and 3G do not support Java applications or Flash. The screen is not made for flashy activities, but for making reading comfortable so it is in black and white, and not colorful.
KIndle is therefore purely an e-reader and not any computer device, thus you could do anything related to the books. You could easily download and purchase books using a Kindle. If you have a computer at home and then you could download all this on the computer and copy it onto the device, then you need not buy the 3G one.
